A fresh coat of paint brings this lake house home. For the brick and roof, the designers chose Benjamin Moore’s Kendall Charcoal, a rich, rich shade. Based on the shadow play, they create a strong contrast with the trim and the columns, both of which are in Benjamin Moore’s Cloud White. Kendall charcoal works best on natural materials, such as wood.

The Challenge Of Exterior Paint Colours

For this brick home, our team chose a stunning and deep shade – Benjamin Moore’s Dramatic. They are simply decorated in Benjamin Moore’s Revere Pewter, a soft, welcoming look. The change of the flag has different colors of fabric that connect the design.

The client said they like charcoal, black, and white, so the designers used Benjamin Moore’s Charcoal Slate for the brick of the house and Benjamin Moore’s Black Beauty for the trim, tiles, and corners. The thin wood near the top of the cardboard and the address memory card add warmth to the design.

Here’s another green, black and white coat we love. The brick of the house is painted in Benjamin Moore’s Chelsea Gray, while Benjamin Moore’s Black is on the shutters, and Benjamin Moore’s Simply White is used on the trim and columns. In this photo, the dark shutters and light trim and columns really contrast with the black brick.

Other color choices include Benjamin Moore’s Dove White for the roof, soffit and windows and Sherwin Williams Urbane Bronze for the interior and garage door. The same color makes the stone stand out while feeling like it’s part of the house.

In this brick house, the entrance is the main point thanks to the way the two columns are painted in light Benjamin Moore – they are advanced, shown in Chelsea Gray. The front door is impressive and helps to attract the eye and enhance the beauty of the home.

The owner of this home wanted a modern look for their transitional Tudor home. The designers chose Sherwin Williams Accept Green – a soft, warm gray – brick. We love the shade because, as the name suggests, it works well with a variety of other colors. In this painting, it is paired with Snowbound on stucco and Iron Ore—both by Sherwin Williams—on the rug. The combination of textures and colors in this house gives it a good appeal.

The Latest Trend In Home Exteriors: Two Tone Paint Jobs (dramatically Improve Your Home’s Curb Appeal)

Black Knight by Benjamin Moore is a dark, dark green paint that we love. With an LRV of 4.76, it is a bold choice for your outdoor space. It’s very dense, so we recommend adding natural tones like wood and earth to lighten it up. Too much for your taste? Try using Black Knight as a shortcut for Windows.

We love Tricorn Black by Sherwin Williams for its deep and rich color. It has an LRV of 3, so it’s a good dark option. We use the color of the lines on the dark sides, like the house above. This house features Tricorn Black in trim, trim, trim and trim.

The above business property is well owned by Black Tricorn. The lower part of the side is finished in Tricorn Black, while the upper part is painted in Sherwin Williams Reserved White. The use of black and white in this painting creates a strong contrast.

Dark Exterior House Ideas

Black Magic by Sherwin Williams tends towards low temperatures and has an LRV of 3. It goes well with yellow and dance, to take it as a statement – yellow houses with black frames are very old. Or you can live in a small house by painting it black and simplifying it with the earth and the sounds of nature.

Benjamin Moore’s Black Beauty – our 2022 Paint of the Year – is slightly more reflective, with a 3.26 LRV. If black is too much for you, adding black wood and metal finishes will give you a monochromatic look (see above). But if you want more variety, you can add a white color to your black interior color as a smoke bottom to make it more natural.

Our designers would like to introduce Sherwin Williams Greenblack as an option for customers looking for a nice color that isn’t too dark. Coming in at 4 on the LRV scale, this deep black color offers a more interesting depth than some of the darkest blacks we’ve seen so far.

Turning to the dark color with 5.77 LRV is River Deep by Benjamin Moore. Because the color is more than our previous choices, you can start to see bright projects: in this case, forest green. We love the white Seapearl porch above, but if you’re looking for a rustic feel, go for a natural wood line.
