Zach and I are always looking for new and improved ways to enhance our homegating experience. We aren’t the “let’s go out” type. When we are watching a big game, we like to do it from the comfort of our living room. We don’t appreciate any unwelcome distractions either! What makes homegating so much better than your typical tailgating extravaganza is that you can hang around in your PJs (what? you don’t do this? oh come on…I know that you do), snack on whatever you please and come up with delicious new recipes to enhance your game day fun! This spicy chipotle fry sauce is just the most recent sauce to make it into the game day line up. Paired with perfectly crisp onion rings and the best sweet potato fries, this chipotle fry sauce is a must-have at your next bash!

Zach and I have been fans of Alexia ever since we discovered them. They are one of our go-to game day snacks, and we are always looking for new and improved sauces and dressings to serve them with! I knew that I couldn’t just make any old fry sauce. I mean recipes for traditional fry sauce are everywhere! I knew I had to give it a major face lift.

Now, we all know that fry sauce usually (not always, but usually) consists of mayo, ketchup, maybe some mustard, maybe some pickle. We’ve all made it, and yes, it is just so delicious as is…

BUT…why not spice it up a little?

I’ve made a few fry sauces in my day. Some sweeter…some spicier…some with mustard…some without, but this recipe is totally different because sriracha and chipotles in adobo sauce are thrown into the mix!

The recipe is so easy too. I mean, you literally throw all of the ingredients into a bowl, whisk together until creamy and serve. It even keeps in the refrigerator for a couple of days, so at your next game day party, all you have to do, is throw the fries and onion rings into the oven and take the sauce out of the fridge.

I’m all about easy during the big game. We don’t want any of those unnecessary distractions!

So, would you like to know where to find some delicious Alexia Sweet Potato Fries or Panko-Crusted Crispy Onion Rings? Why, in frozen potato aisle at your local Walmart of course! They have all kinds of fries that will be perfect to add to your homegating big game spread. They are the perfect dipping utensils for this addicting spicy chipotle fry sauce!

Beer Love
I love a heavier, smokier brew for this pairing. Not only do you get a lot of smokiness from the spicy chipotle fry sauce, but you also get a ton if you choose to pair the fry sauce with the sweet potato fries. A smoky porter (or stout) is the perfect compliment. A porter is robust and malty enough to stand up to the sauce’s extreme flavor without taking away from it! Here are some porters that I love for this spicy chipotle fry sauce!
Alaskan’s Smoked Porter
Stone’s Stone Smoked Porter
Mikkeller’s Chipotle Porter
